Cushman & Wakefield’s EMEA ESG Advisory team is looking for an ESG Analyst to support data collection, reporting & asset improvement efforts across client real-estate portfolios (investors & corporate occupiers) for our pan European & global clients.
As an Analyst, you will know how to make qualitative and quantitative data accessible in a smart way therefore translating it into valuable information. With this skill set you will be able to support the development and delivery of ESG reporting and data services to pan European clients (e.g. GRESB, SFDR, quarterly investor reporting).
We want our Analyst to play a crucial role in maintaining client satisfaction. You will collaborate with our wider real estate business both in EMEA and globally to develop innovative solutions to accelerate progress toward our clients’ ambitious ESG goals at the corporate, portfolio, and/or asset levels.
You will be instrumental in improving the data collection, management and reporting process which will enable us to improve ESG performance at an asset and portfolio level.
This role offers development opportunity to support C&W’s endeavors to bring new and innovative methods & technologies for reporting, getting involved in working with our teams and partners globally and supporting development of C&W’s data & reporting capabilities. In this role you will have the opportunity to collaborate across different departments and geographies and will work with a range of colleagues.
Key Experience:
• Expertise in data collection methods for reporting of ESG data (primarily Energy, Water & Waste data)
• Good knowledge of relevant standards from the GHG accounting (The GHG Protocol)
• Has an affinity with sustainability, data, programming and real estate-related issues
• Working knowledge and capability to support PowerBI reporting development (PowerBI build experience not required)
• Experience in using data management tools such as Python.
• Versatility and ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a global work environment with diverse skillsets and cultures.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in subjects such environmental science, engineering, climate change and sustainability or related field.
• Has 2+ years (Analyst) of sustainability experience.
• Possesses excellent analytical and communication skills – ability to convey complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Strong Microsoft computer skills especially in Excel but also familiar with Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge and experience of online software platforms, with the ability to use spreadsheets and data analysis applications (i.e. Python and PowerBI)
• A proactive attitude, is curious, goal-oriented, self-critical, constructive, solution-oriented, stress-resistant, pragmatic, honest, structured and accurate
• Is a real team player and has the ability to work efficiently in multidisciplinary teams
