Warehouse /Logistic Assistant Prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports related to warehouse activities, personnel, and equipment. Provides information and makes necessary adjustments for stock and inventory control; coordinates adjustments with receiving, order processing and inventory control areas. This role likely involves various responsibilities related to the storage, distribution, and logistics of solar photovoltaic (PV) equipment. Duties/Responsibilities:
Assisting Managing the day-to-day performance and progress.
Help managers activities of associates in warehouse departments including, but not limited to, purchasing, receiving, stocking, retrieving, pulling orders, packing, processing and shipping of finished goods.
Keeping track of solar PV components and equipment in the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock levels, and conducting regular audits.
Coordinating shipments and deliveries of solar PV materials to various project sites or customers, ensuring timely and efficient distribution.
Inspecting incoming and outgoing solar PV products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintaining accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other logistical activities using appropriate software or systems.
Assisting in preparing and organizing materials needed for solar PV installations, working closely with installation teams to ensure smooth operations.
Adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to handling and storing solar PV equipment.
Resolving logistical issues that may arise, such as delays in shipments or discrepancies in inventory.
Working closely with other departments such as procurement, project management, and customer service to support overall project goals.
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, or improve efficiency in warehouse and logistics operations.
Determine work procedures, review schedules and expedite workflow through the efficient usage, training/cross-training and development of regular and temporary labor.
Respond to production problems and implement solutions as necessary.
Support Director of Distribution with a variety of operational tasks.
Responsible for making sure all orders are pulled by the team.
Interact with subordinates, peers and upper management to achieve business goals.
Interacts with all levels of management.
Maintains department tools, material supply inventories and a clean, safe, secure and efficient operation.
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Handles multiple projects and meets deadlines.
Good communication with the General Manager in case the Supply Chain Manager is not available.
Maintain inventory in healthy and optimal conditions that is reflected in the books.
Manage general and cyclical inventories.
Other tasks as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

Knowledge of office computer systems and software
Experience working in data entry software and maintaining detailed information.
Proven experience as data entry clerk
Strong written and communication skills with clients and customers
Excellent knowledge of google docs.
Basic understanding of databases
Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
Great attention to detail
