Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training and
Development Manager to lead our
organization's learning
initiatives. The Training and Development Manager will be responsible
for
designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive
training programs to enhance the skills and
knowledge of our
employees. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for
employee
development, a strong understanding of adult learning
principles, and the ability to align training
initiatives with
organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Program Development:
* Design, develop, and implement training programs that align
with organizational goals and
meet the needs of various
departments.
* Collaborate with department heads to assess
training needs and identify skill gaps.
* Keep abreast of
industry trends and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of training
programs.
2. Learning Management System (LMS):
* Oversee the administration and continuous improvement of the
Learning Management
System.
* Ensure the LMS is utilized
effectively for tracking employee training progress and
maintaining
training records.
3. Delivery of Training:
* Conduct training sessions for employees, utilizing a variety
of training methods and
formats, including workshops, seminars,
and e-learning.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant
feedback and key
performance indicators.
4. Leadership Development:
* Collaborate with leadership to identify and address leadership
development needs.
* Design and implement programs to develop
leadership skills at all levels of the
organization.
5. Assessment and Evaluation:
* Develop and implement assessment tools to measure the impact
and effectiveness of
training programs.
- Analyze training data to make informed decisions and continuous improvements.
6. Budget Management:
* Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective
delivery of programs and
resources.
7. Vendor Management:
* Identify and manage relationships with external training
vendors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
8. Compliance:
* Ensure training programs comply with relevant laws and regulations.
