Journeyman Electrician:
The Electrical Journeyman will be to maximize construction efforts, and resource efficiency of all things construction related. The Journeyman Electrician will play a critical role in the success of the business by working day to day with installers, crew foremans, and other tradesmens. They will execute the installation of the electrical system(s) of the solar installation process. Along with traveling with the crew, the Journeyman Electrician will learn and be mentored by leadership to ensure that all installation practices are safe and quality is standardized. They will be a key member in the installation process to ensure that they understand the market requirements and are a critical subject matter expert to the people around them. The Journeyman Electrician will follow the National Electrical Code as well as company guidelines and practices.
A valid US Driver's License (active for a minimum of 4 years) is required
Candidates must have an ACTIVE Electrical Journeyman License. Must also have OSHA 10 or be able to obtain.

Requirements
- Be an internal Solar subject matter expert to crew members.
- Support the operations team by providing clear and concise install information.
- Utilize wiring diagrams and plans to complete the project as permitted.
- Ability to perform full service panel upgrades.
- Troubleshooting inverter error codes and low voltage.
- Work with leadership and Masters to ensure safety is followed.
- Ability to lift/carry 50+ lbs
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- OSHA 10 or be able to obtain
- ACTIVE Electrical Journeyman License
- A valid US Driver's License (active for a minimum of 4 years)
- A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
- A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
Qualifications
- 2 years in the solar industry, preferred but not required.
- Knowledge with a wide range of residential solar products (inverters, modules, etc.)
- Wide Knowledge with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- NABCEP Certification, preferred but not required.
