Job Summary:
An Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of equipment, including warehouse equipment, manufacturing equipment, plant equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment as directed.
- Troubleshoot and repair all manufacturing plant equipment.
- Repair and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment in plant.
- Follow all maintenance procedures to ensure proper preventative and corrective maintenance practices.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external plant policies and procedures.
- Ensure safety of all personnel in the Maintenance group meets company standards of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations and those within Company Policy
- Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies.
- Conduct other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have Manufacturing experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
- Must have experience repairing manufacturing equipment and plant equipment.
- Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI, machine control and industrial robotics
- Ability to interpret machine schematic, electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day shift or night shift
