This position provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to join our new SolarEdge Manufacturing Team and have the opportunity to build together this new operation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct and implement ongoing reliability lab testing and failure analysis, as well as related reports and analysis at our manufacturing location in Austin, TX.
- Prepare products for analysis and testing.
- Improve, and implement procedures of new test methods.
- Manage priorities and meet deadlines for performing FA, laboratory tests and documenting them.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working as a FA and/or Reliability Technician in failure analysis and reliability laboratories.
- Proven experience in all areas of failure analysis, group testing and certification activities.
- Knowledge of environmental testing standards.
- Familiar with Manufacturing processes technologies and testing methods for PCBA and TLA.
- Self-motivated and task oriented for Quality improvement of the manufacturers.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with a variety of interfaces in the company.
- Train and work with CM engineers and technicians.
Preferred:
- Additional education or certification in Electronics Engineering
- Quality Certification
