Operations Manager Job Summary/Overview:
The Operations Manager (OM) oversees all aspects of the day-to-day residential installation and warehouse operations. Duties will include managing production/workflow of residential solar installs, overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring proper inventory of work supplies, and managing profitability of residential operations. You must be a highly organized, goal-oriented professional with effective communication and leadership skills and a proven record of operating independently in a high-function/fast-paced work environment with minimal oversight.

Core/Primary Job Responsibilities:
Manage and evaluate the entire production process.
Speak Fluent Spanish and English Contribute to production planning and budgeting.
Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain a safe production environment.
Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders.
Contact customers for warranty work and diagnose the scope of work Perform pre-production meetings in order to confirm the scope of work or job site obstacles.
Coordinate the schedule of workers and jobs Order materials per job requirement Be Responsible for all paperwork being completed by the production team.
Coordinate work within budgets and control overages.
Coordinate with general contractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure the projects are completed from start to finish in a timely and efficient manner.
Identify process improvements and resolve problems on each project as they arise.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements, Education, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Must have a valid state driver's license
Must have a clean driving record
Background check required
Solar Installation experience: 2+ year preferred
Residential construction experience
Electrical knowledge is a plus
Ability to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday
Ability to safely handle and maintain basic hand and power tools used for installation
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
Driver's License (Required)
Works independently, as a team player, and drives results in a fast-paced, team based environment

Roofing/Electrical/construction experience is strongly preferred

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Essential physical requirements included climbing, standing, stooping, bending, squatting, stretch.
Physical effort/lifting up to 10 pounds; light - up to 20 pounds; medium - up to 50 pounds; heavy - over 50 pounds.
Ability to work in all weather and ProSolar
Ability to work in confined spaces, such as attics
Must be able to work with heights; ascends/descends a ladder to rooftops.
While working conditions can vary depending on the specific position, this job will require you to be outdoors for extended periods of time.
While performing the duties of this job, required to use hand to handle, touch and use tools, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, twist, lift, reach, push, pull, grasp, balance, talk, hear, and ambulate during the course of employment
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and an ability to adjust focus
Employee may be required to travel for business purposes
