We are currently looking for a CDL Driver A or B to join our facility in Urbana, IL .

Job Summary

Class A or B CDL Driver performs a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans. Must have the ability to operate trucks such as roll-off, packer or box truck.

Major Job Responsibilities

Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to company’s safety plan
Review daily schedule and routes for accuracy
Communicate with Management at the end of day with route information
Complete daily drive route sheet
Conduct daily vehicle inspections
Perform vehicle fueling and turn in corresponding receipts to management
Maintain confidentiality of customer material
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must possess at least a Class A or B Driver License with air brake endorsement
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Must be organized and detailed-oriented
Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs
2+ years of CDL driving experience
Must possess a current clear motor vehicle report
Must pass DOT physical and drug testing requirements

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
