We are currently looking for a CDL Driver A or B to join our facility in Urbana, IL .
Job Summary
Class A or B CDL Driver performs a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans. Must have the ability to operate trucks such as roll-off, packer or box truck.
Major Job Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to company’s safety plan
- Review daily schedule and routes for accuracy
- Communicate with Management at the end of day with route information
- Complete daily drive route sheet
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections
- Perform vehicle fueling and turn in corresponding receipts to management
- Maintain confidentiality of customer material
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must possess at least a Class A or B Driver License with air brake endorsement
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Must be organized and detailed-oriented
- Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs
- 2+ years of CDL driving experience
- Must possess a current clear motor vehicle report
- Must pass DOT physical and drug testing requirements

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
