Telephone Solar Sales Agent - Scheduling Appointments

As a Telephone Sales Agent at Direct Solar, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales revenue. Your primary responsibility will be to effectively sell products and services to prospective customers, maximizing additional revenue from existing clients through recommended sales techniques.
Our compensation plan of hourly + commission is designed to motivate and reward performance based on generating qualified appointments and driving sales.
Previous inside sales/call center experience required.
- Engage with potential customers over the phone in to discuss the benefits of solar products and services.
- Utilize effective sales strategies to recommend additional solar products and services to customers.
- Provide detailed comparisons between Direct Solar's offerings and competitors' products to assist customers in making informed decisions.
- Manage and respond promptly reply to emails.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of competitor pricing, packaging, and products, while staying up-to-date on Direct Solar's offerings.
- Work in a dynamic team environment that supports growth and development opportunities.
- Attend workshops and training sessions aimed at enhancing sales skills and product knowledge.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Associate Degree in relevant fields such as Business, Communication, or Management preferred.
Skills:
- Proficient in using computers, email, chat, and office software.
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi technologies and Internet Explorer.
- Strong knowledge of Direct Solar target market(s).
- Ability to work in a compliance and regulatory environment.
Experience:
- Previous outbound sales experience is a must.
- Demonstrated communication skills.
- Comfortable navigating the Internet and using IT search engine tools.
