Summary of Role
The Incentive Specialist role plays a critical part in the solar customer fulfillment pipeline, managing processing of incentive applications, as well as facilitating a relationship of constant improvement with Palmetto’s counterparts at our partner incentive administrators. The Incentive Specialist will focus on day to day fulfillment of customer incentive applications, timely receipt of funding and facilitation of process improvements within the incentives group.

Strategic & Tactical
- Specialize in incentive application processes, documents, and communication preferences
- Continually evaluate and improve internal processes and initiate steps to meet current and future company service expansions and customer satisfaction goals
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal team members as required
- Ensure all queues are meeting the defined SLOs (Service Level Objectives)
- Ensure customer service levels meet or exceed Palmetto standards
- Prepare and submit documents for incentive approvals to relevant incentive
- Address issues that arise that affect a customer’s incentive payout and customer satisfaction; present supporting analytics and solutions to CAM and/or other departments to drive the clearing of recurring incentive blockers
- Track the progress of application stages from submission to approval to energize; following up with incentive administrators, customers, and internal parties to address problems and move payouts forward to funding
- Call email customers for documents or updates on applications; develop and maintain automated and tailored communication to decrease internal effort and set customer expectations
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a customer support or business processing environment, preferably in solar or renewable energy
- Spanish speaker required
- Strong computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience with Salesforce
- BS/BA in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Days to Resolution/rebate program approval: < 60 days
- Days to Initial Submittal: < 7 days
