We are currently looking for a Facilities and Fleet Manager to work in our Sacramento, California location. This is a full time onsite position.
Salary range: $100,000 - $115,000 per year
What you’ll do: - Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of fleet, equipment, and facilities to ensure they operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Lead a team of facility maintenance staff, fleet mechanics, and administrative personnel.
- Optimize the use of office and storage space, including planning for future expansion or reorganization.
- Manage office vendors for recurring and one time services
- Manage storage, inventory, and ordering for office supplies
- Manage lease information, maintenance, and ancillary functions at all owned and rented locations
- Manage the procurement process for new vehicles and equipment, including negotiating contracts with suppliers.
- Utilize and maintain fleet management software or systems to track vehicle locations, maintenance schedules, and driver performance.
- Generate reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs, and operational efficiency for management review.
- Audit fuel transactions for company vehicles/fuel purchases on a monthly basis.
- Manage and maintain accounts with all fuel services vendors.
- Order fuel cards for each tracked vehicles, request driver fuel PINs.
- Maintain approved driver list and audit
- Work with Safety to ensure approved drivers are properly trained on processes and implement driver safety programs and training to minimize accidents and ensure compliance with transportation regulations
- Support, train, and enforce vehicle incident reporting program and after action needs to be taken
- Work with Crews to implement greasing of equipment and routine maintenance while in use.
- Work with drivers to maintain preventative maintenance and any fixes on vehicles
- Work with HR to maintain approved drivers list, request driver adds, or report any disciplinary action situations.
- Work with Mechanic on repair and maintenance schedules as well as obtaining equipment parts.
- Complete all reports and other documentation timely and accurately.
- Keep detailed and organized notes of findings while on sites.
- Drive and maintain all company vehicles, owned, or rented, in accordance with Company policy and local laws.
- Provide other general support as directed by supervisor.
