MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Prepare or review permits (issuance, reissuance, and modification) for extremely complex or critical treatment, storage and disposal facilities or sources. Provide authoritative technical advice and support to state, local or tribal agencies regarding technical and/or scientific criteria and methods; implementation of pollution control requirements; and impacts of pollutants. Resolve critical, politically sensitive, and highly complex issues related to permit requirements and defend permits against legal challenges, along with Office of Regional Counsel (ORC).
