The Opportunity… We are a large contractor in business for over 13 years, specializing in residential and commercial solar, battery storage, electric vehicle supply equipment, and service upgrades. We cover the Inland Empire Region and currently have an immediate full-time opening for a certified California Residential electrician with 3+ years’ experience with electrical service work and installation. The position is part of our effort to install more residential solar+storage systems to meet the needs of our customers.
What you need to bring to this role...
- Current California State DIR Residential Electrician Certification
- Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience
- Working knowledge of current NEC codes
- Must practice safety at all times and comply with OSHA rules and standards
- Working knowledge and experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels
- Must be experienced with all required hand and power tools associated with electrical trade
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret single line drawings and identify parts needed to create material lists
- Maintain a clean and valid driver’s license
- Be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse and rooftop environment
- Computer skills including emails, laptop and smartphone to ensure and determine accuracy of work
- Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs and ascend/descend ladders as needed
- Availability to travel throughout the Inland Empire, which may include overnight stays and/or weekend work, if needed
It would be great if you also had …
- Experience installing residential storage systems such as Enphase and Tesla Powerwall
- PV Installation experience
- EVITP certification, or ability to complete training and receive certification once hired
- Spanish language fluency
Let's Talk Money! This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Hourly pay commensurate with experience within the pay band ($32-$60 per hour), plus the benefits below.
