JOB SUMMARY: This position is in the Architecture Section of the Historic Preservation Training Center (HPTC), National Park Service. They are responsible for developing a wide array of planning documents for park clients and completing project documentation for projects executed by HPTC preservation services sections for park clients. MAJOR DUTIES: The major duties of the position Technical Information Specialist include, but are not limited to, the following: Work with the Historic Preservation Training Center (HPTC) section managers, project supervisors, and project leaders to ensure that all preservation services projects are documented according to agency policy. Compile project documentation from assigned HPTC project supervisors/leaders, compose Historic Structure Treatment Records (HSTRs) for each project.
