What will you do?
Profile
As Commercial Manager for Industrial Automation Capability Services (IACS) you,
- lead a team to deliver commercial goals for the business in APAC, EMEA and the Americas,
- provide robust commercial analysis and commercial direction for growing the Industry Services Academy or other IACS services businesses globally,
- forecast future trends/impacts and develop commercial strategy and positioning, and
- manage relationships with key Industrial Automation (IA) customers and stakeholders to drive commercial goals globally.
Performance
You deliver,
- financial results against ISA global commercial goals,
- marketing results against ISA marketing metrics and plans,
- annual progress against mid-term strategic commercial and IACS objectives, and
- operating efficiency against the Commercial department budget.
Accountabilities
In this role you:
- Lead and motivate a team of Commercial Operations Leaders, Commercial Leads, and Operations Leads across APAC, EMEA and the Americas, ensuring effective solutions for IA customers and achievement of Hub-level financial targets.
- Develop growth strategies in collaboration with senior leaders across Offer Management, Sales, and Services to set and achieve annual commercial goals and expand our customer base.
- Define the commercial strategy including determining high-potential markets, use cases, and verticals, and how to deploy our resources for optimal growth.
- Understand market-specific landscapes and use those insights to determine our go-to-market strategy in markets and offers of interest.
- Drive lead-generation and prospecting programs and ensure robust pipeline discipline, forecast accuracy and a balanced sales mix.
- Drive relevant activities to augment customer acquisitions and represent ISA in internal and industry forums to drive awareness.
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions for ISA services in coordination with the marketing teams.
- Define effective policies and procedures to govern all Commercial functions.
- Lead annual commercial and commercial operations goal planning with regional teams.
- Establish competitive pricing and sales enablement tools for our products and solutions.
- Enable continuous improvement by uncovering and addressing gap areas from customer feedback and operational analysis.
- Drive engagement and professional development of the commercial team.

- interpreting financial and operational data and extracting insights for performance improvement, and
- presenting commercial analyses and performance results to senior leadership.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
You have,
- educational qualifications in business administration or equivalent experience,
- a combination of experience in consulting and sales management or service business management,
- strong quantitative, analytical skills,
- coaching and conflict resolution abilities, especially at a team leadership level,
- global exposure and experience across multiple geographies,
- a digital mindset/fluency and a highly strategic approach to work, and
- availability to travel up to 50%.
