JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in Natchez Trace Parkway, in the Fire and Managment Division. This is a are Career/Career Conditional permanent position. This announcement will be extended and will close at midnight on Thursday, November 21, 2024 MAJOR DUTIES: Provide leadership as a Fire Engine Module Supervisor in wildland fire suppression and fuels management efforts while considering safety of crew and equipment. Accomplish fire management objectives in high complexity, wildland urban interface and intermix environments. Perform wildland fire suppression, through preparedness, prevention, monitoring, mechanical hazardous fuel reduction, training, and prescribed fire. Perform structure assessments following USNPS National Fire Management Plan Framework.
