The role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities team as an Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator.
In this role you will:
Develop, collect, analyse and report the firms Environment data.
Support and develop the firms various ESG programs to achieve its sustainability goals, complying with regulatory and client requirements.
Alongside environmental duties, health and safety (H&S) responsibilities will include conducting ergonomic workstation assessments, coordinating safety training (Fire Warden and First Aid), and managing H&S documentation to ensure compliance and maintain up-to-date safety records.

What will you do:
Environment and Sustainability:
Assist in the development and implementation of the firm’s Environmental Policy and sustainability strategy, aiming to achieve our 2030 science-based targets and carbon net-zero ambitions.
Support the maintenance and auditing of the firm’s ISO14001 Environment Management System.
Help manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of environment and sustainability data from a variety of sources.
Participate in the annual assessment of the firm’s carbon footprint, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, in collaboration with our global network and external advisors.
Contribute to the preparation of environment and sustainability reports for executive management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with SECR and CSRD requirements.
Assist in responding to client enquiries regarding environment and sustainability, support in audits, and contribute to pitches.
Work with different departments to integrate environmental and sustainability considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.
Support the development and implementation of a supplier engagement plan to advance the firm’s sustainability and ESG goals.
Assist in monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the effectiveness of the firm’s environment, sustainability, and ESG initiatives.
Health and Safety:
Assist in conducting workstation assessments to ensure ergonomic safety, with training provided by the firm.
Support the coordination of Fire Warden and First Aid training programmes.
Manage the health and safety documentation for all contractors, ensuring compliance with legal and firm-specific requirements.
Help execute various health and safety administrative tasks as required.
Keep all health and safety records, including contractor documentation and training records, up to date and accessible.
What we are looking for:
Graduate in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field, either recently obtained or about to be completed.
A keen interest in environmental, sustainability, and health and safety matters.
Previous experience in an EHS role is advantageous but not required.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A proactive learning attitude with a commitment to staying abreast of the evolving sustainability and ESG landscape.
Understanding of carbon emissions measurement and their various scopes.
Familiar with science-based targets and carbon net zero.
Ability to communicate, influence and persuade at all levels, confidently and in an articulate manner, verbally and orally.
Understanding of ESG frameworks and standards such as ISO14001, CSRD, ESOS, SECR.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting and use of appropriate software tools.
Ability to work collaboratively across various departments and with external partners.
Knowledge of relevant industry sector challenges and opportunities in sustainability and ESG.
