Job Duties
• Navigate regulatory rules.
• Draft air applications as well as supporting calculations for air emissions.
• Track developing rules and provide analysis to company operations.
• Conduct site visits to verify site conditions, data tracking and assist with inspections.
• Create and update process flow diagrams and site maps using CAD.
• Conduct health risk assessments using air emission factors and location information.
• Assist Air and Environmental Manager’s in the preparation of Annual Emissions Reports and Toxic Air Contaminant reports.
• Develop guidance documents of flow charts for rule applicability and training.
Qualifications
• Employees in their position prior to April 2014 are presumed to be qualified and are "grandfathered" into their positions.
• Must pass a medical physical and drug test
• Must pass a background check
• High school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline, environmental preferred.
• Basic understanding of MS Office products
• Air Modeling, Flow Rate and Monitoring, Health Risk Assessment and CAD experience preferred.
• Experience or education in the Industrial Hygiene field is a plus
• Ability to: communicate with others effectively; understand direction, written or oral and use basic math skills as the job demand
