What you'll do
1. Regional Operational Leadership:
Own the operational delivery of solar projects within the region, ensuring that every installation is completed to the highest
standards.Manage and support a team of function managers and onboarding specialists to deliver excellent customer service and operational efficiency.Develop and implement a regional strategy that aligns with company goals, including resource management, project throughput, and customer satisfaction.
2. Team Management and Development:
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 2-4 multi-skilled team leaders as well as a team of sales and onboarding specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.Ensure teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development programs.Promote a one-team environment, encouraging collaboration and innovation across all functions involved in the solar installation process.
3. Customer Experience and Service Excellence:
Take ownership of the customer journey from customer enquiry, through sales to post-sale onboarding to installation, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.Handle escalated customer issues, transforming challenges into opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.Continuously improve customer touchpoints, ensuring that processes are efficient, scalable, and customer-centric.
4. Business and Performance Management:
Drive the achievement of key performance metrics, including sales, installation throughput, team satisfaction, and customer feedback.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Compliance, Install and Survey crews, Training) to deliver an integrated regional business plan.Utilise data-driven insights to optimise operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement best practices across the region.
5. Quality, Compliance, and Safety:
Ensure all solar installations meet high standards of quality, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.Work closely with the Compliance Team to maintain and enhance safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
6. Strategic Planning and Innovation:
Identify emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the solar industry and proactively adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.Collaborate with other Regional Managers and stakeholders to develop and implement cross-regional initiatives that drive growth and efficiency.Head up projects that align with the company’s mission to drive the renewable energy revolution and expand the solar proposition in the region.
