Zagope - Construções e Engenharia S.A., a multinational company operating in the engineering and construction sector, is looking to strengthen its structure by recruiting an Business Development Manager - Energy & Renewables (m/f) to join its head office at Lagoas Park in Oeiras:
Reporting to the VP in charge of the Business Unit, the main responsibilities of the professional to be recruited will be:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify projects, opportunities, market trends, and potential growth areas within the Energy and Renewables sector
- Develop a short, mid and long term plan to execute the defined strategy;
- Manage the relationship with clients to secure long term collaboration;
- Lead EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) Contract negotiations;
- Coordinate and manage the inputs from several corporate areas: engineering, procurement, legal, financial, taxing, compliance, HSE (Health Safety and Environment);
- Assess and maintain detailed financial models to assess the financial viability of projects;
- Understanding of local requirements, processes, timelines, and costs in local jurisdictions and sharing information for project budgets, plans, schedules, and third-party agreements;
- Successfully negotiate project design and ensure project success while understanding project constraints;
- Prepare and provide reports on a regular basis to the Corporate management team and other relevant stakeholders;
- Coordinate and manage technical and environmental studies for renewables development
- Participate and represent ZAGOPE in Summits and Conferences related to the Energy Transition market.
We want to have contact with professionals with the following profile:
- Degree or Master in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Energy or Industrial Engineering (or similar);
- Experience in business development;
- Experience in handling suppliers, clients and other stakeholders;
- Experience in developing energy or infrastructure projects;
- Experience with Engineering and Construction;
- Experience with sales;
- Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese reading/writing/speaking (mandatory);
- Availability to travel abroad for limited periods.
