We are seeking a PLM Specialist to join our Engineering Change Management [ECM] team in Engineering Operations, part of Vestas Technology Operations R&D. The team owns, maintains and develops the PLM processes and an important part of our work is to ensure an optimal ECM setup and cater for a strong ECM discipline in the entire Vestas value chain.
Responsibilities
- Assist in defining the strategy and roadmap within and with the team
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the value chain on improvements
- Participate in programs, projects or daily operations to drive the following:
- Requirements gathering and description of associated value add
- Internal collaboration regarding system changes and process updates
- Create and maintain process documentation, workflows, and guidelines for effective use of relevant tools and systems
- Support other teams to adhere to processes, ensure consistent adoption and understand best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience
- Familiarity with cross-functional product development processes
- Experience in process mapping, optimization, and standardization
- Effective presentation skills and fluent communication in English both spoken and written
- Knowledge of PLM software is ideal
