THE ROLE
As an Area Manager I, you'll be at the forefront of driving success for our team and members. This role blends tactical management with strategic oversight as you lead a team of Leads, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional results. You'll monitor team performance, champion process improvements, and play a key role in shaping our supply chain/fulfillment strategies. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can enhance your leadership skills and make a tangible impact on our team's achievements.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as a leader, motivating and inspiring Team Leads and Fulfillment Specialists to achieve exceptional results.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring they receive the necessary training and resources to succeed.
- Establish clear performance expectations and goals, providing regular feedback and coaching to drive results. Monitor team performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Balance team workload and deadlines to optimize efficiency and minimize delays.
- Foster open and transparent communication within the team, ensuring that information flows freely and effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional member experiences and achieve shared objectives.
- Identify and proactively address potential issues before they escalate. Work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies for addressing challenges and ensuring operational excellence.
- Contribute to the development of long-term operational strategic plans, aligning team goals with the overall company vision.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and operations. Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for optimization and implement effective solutions.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide accurate and timely reporting to management. Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Seek guidance from management on complex projects and initiatives, leveraging their expertise and experience to achieve successful outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s Degree or 1-3 years of proven leadership/supervisory experience within a Fulfillment, Distribution, or Warehouse environment.
- Functional knowledge of supply chain management, including but not limited to fulfillment, procurement, transportation, and warehousing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage a group of Leads effectively, with a focus on tactical management.
- Proficiency in documenting and communicating issues and improvements.
- Willingness to learn and grow in management skills, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
