The Operations, Maintenance, Repair and Replacement (OMR&R) Manager is responsible for developing the day-to-day operations plan, maintenance and preventive maintenance plans, repair procedures, and replacement schedule for projects in development. This role involves ensuring that all operational processes run smoothly and efficiently, and that maintenance tasks are performed to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. The scope of work primarily includes HVAC equipment associated with buildings and utility resiliency equipment like solar installations. The manager will coordinate with various departments to implement operational strategies, provide estimated schedule of costs, and troubleshoot issues that arise during operations with contractors and team personnel.

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide preventative maintenance schedule and detailed cost for equipment.
- Identify and secure local contractors for scope bidding.
- Management of contractors for service renewal periods.
- Proactively work with contractor to ensure optimal performance of mechanical equipment and other associated equipment on the project.
- Developing and implementing strategies for the installation, maintenance, replacement, and repair of HVAC systems and other associated equipment.
- Ensuring all HVAC projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and according to quality standards.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
- Collaborating with sales and customer service teams to address client needs and foster business growth.
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
- Facilitate warranty repair and or replacement activities associated with the project.
- Manage inventory levels and response times for issue resolution.
- Participate in project reviews to determine the impact of any future facility/utility system maintenance, repair, or renovations might have on an ECM at the facility. This will include review of project plans and specifications, attendance at project design review meetings, etc.
Essential skills and qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HVAC systems, proven leadership abilities, and a track record of managing complex operations effectively. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree preferred, along with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in mechanical service industry with direct customer-interface experience either in sales or client relationship, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Boilers, HVAC, Pumping Systems, and Motor control operation
- Must have ability to access US Federal Facilities and Installations
- Example: No DUI’s or Felonies
- Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office Products particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven track record of providing excellent customer service internally and externally.
