About this Position
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office weekly) in Houston, TX or Arlington, VA, or Alpharetta, GA or Mountainview, CA
As the IT Director - Projects Platform, you will play a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation of our solutions business. You will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the applications that support our project finance and execution teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring efficient project execution, financial management, data-driven decision-making, and overall business success. This role will require a deep understanding of capital project management methodologies, systems integration and project finance management (EAC) in Oracle Primavera Unifier and P6 and SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company's business objectives, focusing on the projects platform.
Application Support: Develop and maintain a sustainable support model to manage day-to-day requests from the business stakeholders and leading a team of technical and functional BSAs to adhere to SLAs.
Application Development: Lead the development and implementation of applications and integrations and reporting & analytics needs
Business Stakeholder Management: Partner with business executives from Finance, Accounting and Project execution teams to drive consensus on process change/solution design of our project platforms.
Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing IT team. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

What does the ideal candidate bring to Fluence?- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Finance leadership roles, with a focus on project management and finance transformation.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing IT projects and initiatives in a capital projects environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
