Context:
At John Cockerill H2, we consider Customer Support as crucial to empower our customers’ business, and develop long time partnership, by bringing the best solutions and services, securing safety, productivity, and efficiency of their operations.
Customer Support is a new organization preparing its operational start, building first 4 main pillars: people & competences, footprint, portfolio, and methods & tools, establishing the basics on which we will build and grow the future Customer Support business.
4 priority transformation projects have been identified, and one of them is to develop and implement a CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) tool, to allow to execute in a proper way our future LTSA (Long Term Service Agreement) and optimize further our maintenance plans and activities. First usage of our CMMS will be internally to take care of the maintenance of PiFast (test facility in Seraing), of Serenity (H2 mobility showcase in Seraing) and Hydeal (test facility in Liège).
Main responsibilities:
Not to do a long list of tasks, as this is a start-up approach for which the Customer Support & Maintenance Engineer will create his own path with a high level of autonomy, here is a no exhaustive list:
- Execute the maintenance plan for PiFast, Serenity and Hydeal, in cooperation with the operations team (Manufacturing) running the equipment, and with R&I as the final customer, allowing to run on time the testing plan.
- Capitalize on the maintenance activities done, feeding Product Development and RMTS more specifically to optimize maintenance plans, methods, and tools.
- Feed with all kinds of information (technical data, picture…) the teams in charge of developing the documentation, troubleshooting flows and the training materials.
- Collaborate with the training team to elaborate training materials and define practical exercises in real conditions.
- Evaluate and test new methods, tools, processes… to support the development of the Customer Support portfolio.
- Support the CMMS project team in developing (as an end user) and in implementing (for the tests facilities he oversees for maintenance) the tool.
- Support rolling out the CMMS tool to end customers if necessary.
- Contribute to training sessions with the end customers if necessary.
Your profile:
- Self-starter working in an agile way within a green-field project.
- Test or Process engineer with a couple of years’ experience in a highly demanding O&M (Operations & Maintenance) industry.
- Customer focused aiming at delivering the highest possible availability.
- Hands on and at the same time, structuring and planning.
- Working hard and having fun.
- Appetite to solve issues and learn new technical things every day.
- Initiative lover who swims well in a complex and matrix evolving organization.
- High technical education as Electromechanical and/or Process Industrial Engineer.
