As a Solar O&M Technician, working closely with the O&M team, you will conduct routine inspections, execute maintenance procedures, and respond promptly to system issues, contributing to the overall efficiency of solar installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Routine Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues. Execute routine preventive maintenance procedures on solar equipment.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Identify and troubleshoot faults in solar panels, inverters, wiring, and related components.
- Data Collection and Reporting: Utilize monitoring systems to collect data on system performance.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to system failures or emergencies to minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and report issues as necessary.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance activities. Promote and maintain a culture of safety within the team and on-site.
Qualifications:
- Technical diploma/ITI or relevant certification in solar technology, electrical systems, or a related field.
- Previous experience in solar O&M or a similar role is beneficial.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and associated electrical components.
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on maintenance skills.
