JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in Fort Sumter & Fort Moultrie National Historical Park in Sullivan's Island, South Carolina. This is a term position (more than 1 year) with an initial appointment expecting to last at least 13 months but may be extended up to a total of three years. Major Duties for this position may include but are not limited to the following: Leads and ensure compliance of the National Park Service's State and Local Assistance Programs Division's Records and Information Management (RIM) Program. Provides guidance on laws, regulations, and policies governing records and information collection, privacy and public access, including coordinating the Division's responsibilities under the Information Collection and Paperwork Reduction Act and the information collect and form clearances process(es). Serves as the point of contact and coordinator for the Divisions response to information requests under Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), routine record or information inquiries from the public and litigation or discovery actions in support of program including tracking requests received, working with the program staff to compiling responsive records and information, ensuring deadlines are met and the information assembled for the release is complete and accurate.
