JOB SUMMARY: This position is with Martin Luther King Jr National Historic Park but will be duty stationed at the Southeast Regional Office in Atlanta, GA. MAJOR DUTIES: Track training and preparedness of personnel to support day to day response to all-hazard incidents up to a Type 3 incidents, all within the Incident Command System (ICS). Assists parks in recruitment, training, and maintenance of incident management team personnel. Serves as National Park Service liaison within incident management entities, e.g., Federal (including military), state and local. Serves as an account manager for the region's all hazard qualifications, providing data within the qualification certification process for all the region's parks. Run reports in Incident Qualifications Certification System pertaining to personnel training needs, and regional preparedness.
