The team is under the Global Finance of Vestas Shared Services Centre.
The Finance Shared Service Center is comprised of various Finance functions that support Vestas globally. These functions include Purchase to Pay, Travel and Expense, Account to Report, Cash Management, Compliance, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Costing and Inventory, Master Data Management and the Finance Controlling team. This team is expected to have close collaboration with Regional Finance, Payroll, Factory Controllers, Treasury, Procurement and other functions of the company.

Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and leadership for a team size of 10-12 staff handling Finance operations. Act as a point of contact for any escalated issues when needed
- Conduct regular coaching / 1-1 sessions to improve the individual performance of the team members and to develop them
- Improve performance management by analyzing KPIs and ensuring metrics and SLAs are met. Address operational issues and initiate ideas to improve current performance. Lead and facilitate operational review meetings with stakeholders to discuss action plans and next steps
- Ensure that the team meets the requirements of the Law and the requirements of the auditors according to the recorded materials and internal controls instructed by Vestas’ compliance policies. Ensure that SOX documentation has been completed and reviewed in a timely manner (when applicable to various Finance functions)
- Promote knowledge sharing across the Finance Shared Service Center and across regions. Standardize processes and recommend ways to reduce process variations across regions
- Continuously identify and facilitate possible migration of work or activities from the regions (as an output of the standardization exercise)
- Responsible for overseeing various personnel functions including but not limited to team resourcing, training, performance appraisals and managing underperformance if there is any
- Covers the planning and organization of the team's work, to engage and enable team members to implement work efficiently and effectively, and to establish and maintain interfaces with key stakeholders
- Proactively engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders, addressing operational issues and problems with speed and quality
- Formulate a functional strategic plan applicable to the operations in scope and align it towards the Overall SSC strategic plan
- Exhibit strong leadership behavior that will support the growth and development of staff and the organization
- Establish and maintain an office environment welcoming of diversity and inclusiveness
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Accountancy or any Finance Course
- With a comprehensive background in Finance functions like Purchase to Pay, Account to Report, Fixed Assets, Travel & Expense, Master Data, Controlling, Cash Management, Intercompany, Costing, and Inventory
- With at least 3-4 years of supervisory or leadership experience possessing good leadership skills with the ability to motivate and retain staff and to develop leadership within an organization
- With experience in handling process improvement initiatives and migration
- Demonstrated Project and Change Management abilities; Lean Six Sigma training or certification is an asset
- Deliver results - take personal accountability to ensure timely and first-time-right delivery of commitments of self and team
- Champions customer focus - establish solid working relationships within the team and stakeholders
- Very good proficiency in Microsoft applications especially in MS Suite. Macros is beneficial but not required
Competencies
- Preferably with certifications (i.e. CPA, CMA, CIA, etc.) but not required
- With good leadership skills and the ability to influence and inspire others
- Good and confident communication skills as the role requires discussing with business stakeholders
- Problem-solving-oriented and with knowledge of process improvement methodologies
- Flexible and willing to work on holidays as needed and on any shift as maybe assigned. Willing to travel
- With positive behavior and attitude. Can blend well with different kinds of personalities
- With knowledge of using ERP systems
- Takes initiative and has a "can do" attitude; a strategic person in a complex, diverse and fast-paced environment
- Excellent in presentation, communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering, including communicating numbers and data to non-financial people
