Key Responsibilities:
Onsite Site Evaluation
- Conduct onsite assessments for commercial and industrial solar projects nationwide.
- Quickly create and share detailed site drawings, reports, and analysis.
- Assess and document electrical systems and roof conditions.
- Perform shade analysis and review weather patterns.
- Review rooftop, carport/canopy, and ground-mounted systems.
Technical Documentation
- Accurately assess and document electrical systems and roof conditions.
- Perform detailed shade analysis and review local weather patterns.
- Create comprehensive site drawings and reports to be used by solar designers and installation teams.
- Determine the best type, size, and layout of solar panels for each site.
Collaboration and Communication
- Communicate detailed site information to the company's solar designers and installation teams.
- Ensure clear and effective communication regarding site-specific details and requirements.
Expectations:
Technical Expertise
- Proficient in performing site evaluations and using tools for shade analysis.
- Strong understanding of electrical gear and solar system interconnections.
- Experience with rooftop, carport/canopy, and ground-mounted solar systems.
- Ability to assess and document electrical systems and roof conditions accurately.
- Possession of a C-10 electrical license is a significant benefit.
Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical skills to calculate potential costs and savings.
- Attention to detail in creating accurate and comprehensive reports.

Travel Requirements
- About 15% overnight travel will be required.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively to project sites.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in solar site assessment, particularly for commercial and industrial projects.
- Familiarity with solar energy systems and renewable energy principles.
- Proficiency with site assessment tools and software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with electrical gear and understanding of solar system interconnections.
- Possession of a C-10 electrical license is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $80,000 - $100,000/yr
