PV/Solar Development Engineer - Large Energy/Mechanical company - Irvine, CA

The company has $40+ million in backlog of large commercial solar projects and is making an effort to expand the PV/Solar team.

This position has remote-flexibility if someone needs it, and the projects are predominantly in Orange County, Los Angeles, and the Inland Empire.

POSITION:

Solar Development Engineer – Large Commercial Projects
- REMOTE-Flexibility

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Prior experience in Design of Commercial PV/Solar projects
Team Player, Ability to Work-Independently, Detail-Oriented

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive the Engineering/Development of Solar Construction Projects
Receive the proposed design/bid from the Sr. Sales Engineer
Perform local Job-Walks for project planning (15-25% of the time)
Establish schedule project milestone phases and deliverables
Coordinate with engineering subcontractors, internal team members, clients, etc
Design with AutoCAD (preferred), Bluebeam, Revit, etc
Create Permit-Level drawings and collaborate with internal and external resources.
Create Submittal packages
Track, schedule, and procure major equipment
PLUS – previous experience with PowerClerk submissions
