Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, manage resources, and ensure adherence to budgets and schedules.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Analysis and Optimization:
- Conduct failure analysis and reliability assessments to improve system performance and longevity.
- Implement and monitor testing procedures to validate design performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Analyse data to optimize mechanical systems for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure designs meet safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
- Co-ordination and Communication:
- Work closely with electrical engineers, civil engineers, and other team members to ensure integration of mechanical systems with other project components.
- Communicate technical information to non-engineering stakeholders effectively.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the installation and maintenance phases.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all mechanical designs, processes, and modifications.
- Generate and present reports on project status, design reviews, and system performance.
- Execution & Commissioning:
- Planning and controlling site movement and heavy equipment movement.
- Erection of static equipment or static parts (hub, Nacelle, tower, lattice.
· Loading unloading of WTG material with medium capacity crane (70T,160T,220T).
· Assembly of lattice section as per given drawing.
· Assembly of different WTG parts on site, assembly of rotor blade.
· Maintaining observation closer reports given by customer.
· Maintaining LTF file, PQHC by collecting accurate data.
· Quality inspection of WTG before or after installation as required
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of [5-7] years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably with experience in wind energy projects or similar renewable energy sectors.
- Additional advantage experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Knowledge of wind turbine systems, mechanical design principles, and energy production technologies.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles and techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to wind energy.
