Schneider Electric is seeking a Systems Architect Expert (SAE) to support the US End User Automation products sales team, focusing on Water/Waste Water opportunities. The SAE will work closely with sales teams to provide technical pre-sales support and drive sales growth in the assigned geography. Key responsibilities include engaging with customers' ecosystem, creating demand, delivering compelling presentations, and demonstrating Schneider Electric's offerings. The ideal candidate should have a passion for automation technology, commercial acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively in group settings. Knowledge of AVEVA software and PLC/PAC is advantageous. The role involves providing pre-sales automation technical support, visiting customers, supporting End Users and Consulting Engineers, promoting Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Architectures, creating demos, and being the main technical customer interface for system and solutions. Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-sales automation technical support for Water/Waste Water opportunities, working closely with the sales team.
- Collaborate with SE sales teams, channel partners, and customers to support and promote automation solutions.
- Create demos and visualize solution concepts for customers, serving as the main technical interface.
- Offer expert support and recommendations for system and architecture definition, migration, and interconnectivity.
- Address deep technical questions, provide differentiating elements for sales arguments, and work with global SAE community.
- Gather detailed customer requirements, define best implementation, and select appropriate architectures and hardware.
- Contribute to a global network of system and architecture experts as part of the global SAE Program.
- Industrial Automation expert with strong ability to build optimized automation architectures and solutions fitting the needs of the customer (including channel partners such as System Integrators).
- Broad technical knowledge of:
- Automation technology
- Networks (Principles, connectivity, limitations, performance)
- Hardware & Software systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA and VFD technology)
- Industry Business installed base offer: migration from and interconnection with the Industry Business legacy offer.
- Solid commercial aptitude which allows the SAE to:
- Be the technical backbone of the salesman, understand the customer and their business
- Propose optimum architectures according to the customer’s needs by providing a clear explanation to the strengths and weaknesses of a particular solution. By communicating the differentiating elements in a simple and convincing way.
- Ability to be a part of a team. Belong to the SAE community where we learn can learn from or teach others.
