Role SummaryThe Supply Chain applications team's mission is to ensure we meet our engineering and supply chain needs by increasing level of integration and automation of existing business processes. We achieve that mission through building a suite of applications that integrate our platforms together. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, taking ownership and lead development efforts.
Responsibilities- Build, test and release complex mission critical full-stack applications for internally and externally facing software
- Design and implement backend code using Python, AWS Services, Lambdas, NoSQL databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA testing, technical product management and UI/UX design teams to define application features
- Use automation as an opportunity to reduce roadblocks and achieve deliverables
- Ensure good software architecture practices are followed across the team
- Actively contribute to code and design reviews
- Perform unit testing to deliver high quality software
Qualifications- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer developing custom solutions or applications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degrees or practical experience
- Advanced proficiency in the following backend and cloud languages & technologies: Python, AWS Services, Lambdas, NoSQL databases
- Experience in frontend development: JavaScript/Typescript (preferably React)
- Proficiency in the following cloud technologies: AWS Services, Lambdas, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation
- You have previously handled projects or application features independently including design, development, and deployment
- Great understanding of caching, authentication, authorization, and privacy considerations
- Unit testing and test-driven development experience
- Systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
- Experience with Agile Development
- Excellent command in English, written and spoken
