Who we are looking for:
Phoenix Tailings is seeking passionate and driven engineers to join our Leadership Development Program (LDP). We are looking for individuals who want to make a significant impact on the future of sustainable metals production. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on leadership experience while working in one of the most innovative clean technology startups.
You will be part of a program that prepares future leaders by immersing you in critical operational tasks while learning how to scale and optimize clean metal production systems. This position is ideal for engineers who are passionate about innovation, sustainability, and developing cutting-edge processes.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead the buildout and scaling of production operations:You will take an active role in building and running production systems, including harvesting metal and feeding the production systems.
- Develop technoeconomic analyses and financial models: Help ensure the scalability and financial sustainability of Phoenix Tailings’ operations by creating critical analyses and models.
- Collaborate across departments: Engage with R&D, Finance, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
- Refine and optimize production systems: Drive improvements in metallization and separation processes (including solvent extraction and molten salt electrolysis).
- Operational leadership: Lead the day-to-day operations of Phoenix Tailings’ production systems, working directly with systems that are integral to the company’s success.
- Prepare for leadership:You will receive hands-on leadership training to equip you for senior roles within the organization.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Engineering field.
- Experience in high-temperature systems, metallurgy, or electrochemical processes is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
- Passion for sustainability, clean energy, and innovative technology.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A desire to grow into a leadership role in a rapidly scaling company.
