i.The ECS Systems Engineer will be responsible for
the coordination, development, and management of technical requirements.
ii.Coordinate and execute design reviews to include
SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, FRR, TRR, SVR for air vehicle, systems, and components.
iii.Execute design reviews for ensuring all
necessary deliverables are complete and entry and exit criteria is met.
iv.Development of requirements and preparation of
specifications for ECS subsystems, components, parts and assemblies.
v.Collaborate with design engineers in the
development of system and component level technical requirement specifications
and Statements of Work.
vi.Work with design teams to develop
validation/verification plans/ reports for each subsystem.
vii.Support the identification and management of
risks, issues, and opportunities and develop risk mitigation strategies.
viii.Track and capture design decision notices,
impacts and design changes as they occur throughout the program.
ix.Architecture definition for ECS and its
sub-systems.
Requirements
i.Experience in ACCS (Air Cycle Cooling Systems)
preferred
ii.Experience in VCCS (Vapor Cycle Cooling Systems)
preferred
iii.Experience in CPCS (Cabin Pressure Control
Systems) preferred
iv.Experience in BAS (Bleed Air Systems) preferred
v.Experience in thermos-fluidic systems such as
icing, fire protection, fuel is also acceptable
vi.Awareness of regulatory standards (e.g. DO-160,
DO-254, DO-178) and aircraft system guidelines (ARP4754A, ARP4761, etc.)
vii.Experience in IBM DOORS.
