Responsible for project coordination and scheduling, including communication with clients and Clinchfield staff, development of contractor bid scopes, performance of surveys and contractor oversight, and support of project managers and field staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage project staffing and scheduling for projects within your designated territory.
- Communicate with clients, program management, project staff, and subcontractors to convey and coordinate project scopes and schedules.
- Conduct surveys and contractor oversight for industrial hygiene projects.
- Accurately document field activities using provided field forms and electronic surveying application.
- Review field documentation and evaluate findings and recommendations.
- Interpret as-built drawings.
- Understand and interpret laboratory reports.
- Prepare technical memorandums and site investigation reports.
- Provide peer review of technical reports.
- Prepare project specifications and bid request packages.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to field staff within your territory.
- Travel to client sites within your designated territory. Overnight travel may be required.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science-related field.
- 10+ years of industry experience.
- Florida Licensed Asbestos Consultant preferred.
- RCRA/DOT Training – Hazardous Waste Shipping.
- Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe.
- Ability to use a surveying/mapping application on hand-held devices. Training will be provided with the expectation that proficiency will be
- attained through practice and consistent usage of the client required application.
- Excellent technical and general communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team in a fast-paced environment.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
- Ability to obtain railroad badging through enrollment in ISNetworld (ISN), a supplier information management system utilized by freight rail clients.
