Role SummaryHelp us bring to life the next generation of Rivian Vehicles by taking a leading role in managing the integration of Hardware and Software through the Development Life Cycle. As part of the Software Technical Program Management Team, you will be responsible for collaborating with Electrical Hardware teams, Test and Development teams, New Product Introduction teams and Product development teams to plan, develop and manage integration test assets to support software deliverables for program milestones.
Responsibilities- Scoping with technical teams based on systems engineering approach, and planning test asset needs for the software development teams
- Prioritization of components for test assets based on software delivery milestones, technical risk, and complexity
- Driving software-hardware integration efforts across the organization throughout the development activities.
- Coordinating verification test plans
- Leading and coordinating cross-functional dependencies outside of the software organization
- Prioritizing and driving technical issues to closure throughout the software organization
- Providing the program team and executive management progress updates
- Conducting healthy escalations in advance of a deliverables going out of bounds
- Identifying and executing continuous process improvements
Qualifications- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related technical fields with 5+ years relevant experience
- 3+ years of Technical or Engineering Program Management experience
- Experience with Systems Engineering principles
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience with Test and validation
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Expert in agile and waterfall development process using Jira and other program management tools
- Understanding of hardware/software bring-up of distributed systems, managing project dependencies, and negotiating parallel activities to optimize project execution
- Proven track record with software development project planning, progress tracking, and risk management
Pay DisclosureSalary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants:$121,500.00 - $165,100.00 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary:Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
