EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certificate from college or technical school preferred
- One to three years related experience
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred
- Must have Medical Examiner Certification or ability to obtain
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive company equipment per company policy
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the Company’s Zero Injury principles
- Ability to read schematics
- Ability to complete all aspects of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommended preventative maintenance services for engine, transmission, and hydraulic systems on construction equipment and vehicles
- Ability to track and maintain records of completed work and update status of open work orders
- Ability to complete scheduled maintenance tasks including but not limited to: wheel and tire changes, cutting edge replacement, DOT inspections, services, etc.
- Ability to identify and request parts and complete repairs using OEM manuals
- Ability to use digital systems such as email, phone/tablet for inspections and photos, time tracking application, digital OEM manuals
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service equipment
- Ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and follow through on assignments
- Ability to work well with others
