Equipment Delivery Integration Manager
The Equipment Delivery Integration Manager will oversee the planning, coordination and execution of equipment delivery and integration processes for TerraPower’s Natrium project. This role ensures that equipment is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and is seamlessly integrated with the plant’s operations. The Equipment Delivery Integration Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Plant Delivery and will work closely with logistics teams, engineering design teams and plant operations to guarantee that all deliveries comply with regulatory and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop the process for developing and managing detailed project plans for equipment and component delivery and integration, from final design phase through field construction and startup, including integration of schedules across varying suppliers and project organizations.
- Coordinate with subcontracted resources, partner engineers, logistics teams, and internal departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of equipment.
- Coordinate with interfacing project teams and other project support organizations to develop cohesive fabrication strategies across organizational lines and ensure accurate and complete hand-offs are identified.
- Establish quality control standards for delivered equipment.
- Oversee the development of guidance for logistics of equipment transportation, ensuring proper handling and timely arrival.
- Oversee development of detailed transport solutions for large equipment and oversee transport planning, permitting, and execution.
- Oversee development of plans for ensuring that delivered equipment is correctly integrated into the plant’s operations.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to manage the installation and commissioning processes.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure adherence to delivery schedules and specifications.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to keep them informed of delivery statuses and any potential issues.
- Ensure all delivery and integration activities comply with nuclear regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Ensuring preparation and maintenance of documentation necessary for regulatory audits and inspections.
- Identify potential risks in the delivery and integration process and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and address any issues that could impact project timelines or quality.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals involved in the delivery and integration process.
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- B.S. in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university and 10+ years direct experience with equipment delivery, logistics, or project management, preferably within the nuclear power or energy sector, or an M.S. with commensurate experience.
- 5+ years in a combined technical leadership role with leading performance of technical scope and/or additional manager responsibilities.
- Experience working to quality standard, such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001. Experience working under ASME N-Certificate quality program desired.
- Demonstrated experience in oversight of supplier and subcontractor organizations in a heavy industry environment. Experience working with suppliers and subcontractors subject to a 10 CFR 50 Appendix B quality program desired.
- Demonstrated diverse and robust experience in oversight of design and fabrication of complex, multi-disciplinary structures and equipment. Previous experience in design, fabrication, and installation of major nuclear mechanical components, nuclear reactor equipment, or similar design is highly desired.
- Proficient knowledge and experience with nuclear construction, and lifecycle management processes (including In-Service Inspection, material surveillance, vibration programs, equipment qualification programs, etc.) highly desired.
- Knowledge and experience in ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII
- and/or Section III.
- Knowledge and experience with specialty areas such as welding and weld qualification, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME Y14.5M), or others desired but not required.
- Exceptional communication skills to integrate with a geographically and organizationally diverse engineering team are required.
- Ability to manage numerous competing priorities concurrently during a given work week and work with minimal direction to solve multi-disciplinary problems.

Salary Range Level 12: $ 163,702 - $ 226,844
*Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 – 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary band. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual’s qualifications and experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
