Travelling Wind Turbine Technician with SGRE platform expereince. This is a service and/or maintenance position, in remote locations across the USA.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform a variety of tasks. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. The ideal candidates are self starters willing to follow directions, work instructions and work in team. Typically, you will work 5-7 days a week, 8-12-hour shifts, lots of overtime available. We generally work in teams of 2-4 people.
More About You
- You will need a safety-focused mindset
- Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment
- You will bring at least 3 years of wind experience on SRGE platforms
- You are a SGRE Certified Basic Technician, Maintenance Technician or have equivalent experience
- Valid GWO certifications (including Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awreness, Manual Handling, and Advanced Rescue Training (ART))

Position Overview

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot errors on wind turbine
- Service and maintenance of wind turbines
- Escalate technical issues to supporting engineering functions
- Provide excellent service to our customers
- Participate in the development of new improved field procedures and best practices
- The working environment entails working inside the wind turbine enclosure at an elevated height of ~ 300 feet
- Ability to think clearly and maintain composure during stressful and or hazardous situations is a critical ability to working in confined spaces
- Extensive training and testing will be provided covering safety and technical job requirements
- Physical requirements of the job include but not limited to: Ladder climbing minimum 250 steps, up stair climbing, standing for long periods, walking, lifting, bending, twisting, work above shoulders, pushing, pulling, exposure to vibration, chemicals, confined spaces and extreme weather conditions
- Able to expand technical ability
- Capable of efficiently taking on additional roles and responsibilities at an operating wind farm
