Job Summary:
Ethos Green Power Cooperative is a worker-owned, electrification services company that focuses on solar energy.
We’re looking for a highly skilled Project Management Coordinator who can effectively and efficiently lead our Project Management Department, in addition to being part of the company’s Leadership Team.
The ideal candidate will have extremely strong communication and organizational skills. They should feel comfortable leading a group of technically-minded Project Managers to success. This person should also have experience developing systems and processes, refining them with stakeholders, holding people accountable, and ultimately reporting and updating them on the successes and failures of the department. Robust leadership skills are required for this position.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting and Communication
Monitor department project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the Leadership Team as necessary.
Report and escalate issues to the Leadership Team as needed.
Conduct regular project status meetings and executive briefings.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, sales, and finance teams to ensure overall Project Management success.
Prepare and present detailed Project Management Department reports and updates to the Leadership Team.
Scheduling
Setting the Project Management Department schedule in collaboration with all other stakeholders.
Communicating the Project Management project schedule and any changes to Project Planning Department employees in a timely fashion.
Process and Departmental Development
Develop, implement, improve and follow Project Management processes, standards, and methodologies.
Implement and oversee Project Management software and tools.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Project Management team.
Lead the entire Project Management team, providing direction, support, professional development and mentorship.
Identify important relevant industry or equipment related education for Project Management training
Establish educational benchmarks and expectations for Project Managers.
Departmental Maintenance
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Ensure quality assurance and quality control processes are followed.
Ensure resource availability and allocation of materials for all Project Managers.
Ensure Project Managers are meeting all job accountabilities and responsibilities
Hiring, training, reviewing, and terminating Project Management Department employees in collaboration with HR
Safety
Ensuring employee adherence with the Ethos Safety Policy.
Ensuring any injuries and/or near misses are recorded and reported properly in keeping with the Ethos Safety Policy.
Ensuring all records are kept and submitted properly in keeping with the Ethos Safety Policy.
Continual observation and improvement of safety conditions under which Project Management employees work.
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
Ensuring the entire fleet of Ethos Project Management Department vehicles is serviced with preventative maintenance measures according to a published PM schedule, that necessary repairs are executed, and these maintenance/repair activities are scheduled and completed in a timely fashion.
Accountability and Collaboration
Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases of solar projects.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues alongside Project Managers.
Support business development efforts by providing technical and project management expertise.
Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to support project acquisition efforts.
Approving or denying time off requests as it relates to and impacts the success of the employees, department, and company.
Adherence to and support of Ethos internal policies and laws, rules, and regulations within which Ethos operates.
Other tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Leadership Team.
Continuing Education
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in solar energy and project management.
Pursue and obtain supporting position education such as NABCEP Professional credentials.

Working Conditions:
Primarily office-based with occasional travel to project sites.
Some travel required for client meetings and industry events.
Flexible working hours may be necessary
