**Job Title:** Government Liaison Officer - Solar Projects
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Regulatory Compliance:**
- Ensure all solar projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and policy that may affect solar projects.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permits and approvals.
2. **Permit Acquisition:**
- Coordinate with government agencies to obtain required permits for solar installations.
- Track the progress of permit applications and address any issues that arise.
- Maintain records of all permits and regulatory communications.
3. **Relationship Management:**
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government bodies.
- Represent the company at meetings, hearings, and public forums.
- Advocate for the company's interests and negotiate favorable terms when needed.
4. **Project Coordination:**
- Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated into project plans.
- Provide guidance on compliance issues during project development and execution.
- Assist in resolving any regulatory obstacles that may arise during project implementation.
5 **Reporting and Documentation:**
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions with government bodies.
- Prepare regular reports on regulatory status, compliance issues, and advocacy efforts.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
