Job Description:
Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or business unit. Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. May consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices. May have full management responsibility over a team or may manage one level of managers.

The Global Renewable Energy Credit team supports the continued growth in sustainable, renewable, and green finance and further deliver on the bank’s commitment to help society transition to a low-carbon economy. The Global Renewable Energy Credit is uniquely positioned to support different Front Line Units across the bank, underwriting a wide range of products including corporate lending, project finance, tax equity and tax credit. The Business Support Manager will be a key member of the COO team, providing day-to-day support to senior management, developing the governance and control framework, Improving metrics and portfolio reporting and driving process efficiencies and best practice initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Produce high quality presentations and management information for senior management
- Work with reporting teams in Enterprise Credit, Finance and Enterprise Credit Risk to enhance portfolio management analytics and co-ordinate across different Front Line units to develop consistent solutions across GRE Credit Portfolio
- Assist with the governance and control framework
- Assist in management of financials, headcount, strategy, change management and best practice
- Coordinate communication projects, e.g. town halls, off-sites and employee engagement
- Coordinate ad hoc cross-functional working groups
- Develop relationships with lines of business and key support partners
- Proactively contribute to the improvement of operational efficiency and internal processes

- Ability to assess the effectiveness of arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business
- Project management, ability to deliver change at program level
- Familiarity with GCIB, GMC and Leasing policies and procedures and experience at building out P&Ps
