The purpose of the Heating and Renewables Sales Specialist is to generate revenue by engaging with potential customers, taking time to understand their requirements, consistently resulting in a good outcome for customers. The role will be involved with both the Heating and the Renewables sectors with focus into the Electrification of UK residencies.
What you’ll do
- Respond to incoming customer calls in a timely and professional manner, educating them on BOXT’s products and services.
- Proactively contact prospective customers in outbound sales to win new business - no cold calling involved.
- Generate sales proposal working on both the cost and the saving representative to the consumer.
- Following up on leads generated from various campaigns and sources.
- Work across all BOXT product offerings including Boilers, Solar, Air Conditioning, Heat pumps and EV in a confident, energetic, and efficient manner.
- Manage a pipeline of customers across all product sectors.
- Manage Admin notes to ensure efficient and effective time management of self and other team members. Update BOXT admin platform regularly to ensure all recommendations, knowledge and information is being recorded for each job.
- Adhere to differing documented Sales processes across multiple product offerings.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation, regulations and Company policies and procedures.
- Answer any customer enquiries via telephone, email, or Intercom (Live chat) in line with business policies and processes.
- Help resolve issues and troubleshoot technical problems and where necessary, escalate to a technical expert.
- Provide customers with accurate information about products and services ensuring a good customer outcome.
- Ensure processes are adapted where customers may require additional support for special circumstances delivering a caring and compassionate service.
- Ensure that all customers receive accurate and timely support that is relevant to their circumstances.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation, manufacturing regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure accuracy when updating spreadsheets and BOXT admin systems.
- Any other duties which may be required from time to time by the Management Team and Board of Directors, in the course of your employment with BOXT.
Who you are
- GCSE (Or equivalent) Maths and English (preferred)
- Minimum of 12 months experience working in a fast paced, results driven sales role
- Clear and effective communication skills with a good command of English
- Flexible and adaptable to work loads and tasks
- Confidence in working on your own initiative as well as within a team environment.
- IT literate with mainstream systems (Excel/ Email/ Word)
- Highly organised and a systematic / planned approach to workloads supported with high levels of accuracy
- Active listening skills
- Sound knowledge of general office systems such a digital filing
- Driven to deliver customers a good outcome
- Passionate about good service levels
