We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Solar O&M team in the role of Performance Monitoring and Analysis. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring and analysis of solar plant performance data to optimize plant operation and maximize energy production. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze real-time performance data from solar plants to identify deviations and inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement monitoring protocols and tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as energy output, availability, and reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and develop action plans to address them promptly.
- Collaborate with O&M teams to implement performance improvement initiatives and optimize plant performance.
- Generate regular performance reports and present findings to management, highlighting trends and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in solar monitoring and analysis to enhance performance monitoring processes.
- Assist in the development of predictive maintenance strategies based on performance data analysis to minimize downtime and maximize asset lifespan.
- Support the implementation of performance monitoring software systems and tools, including configuration, integration, and user training.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to performance monitoring and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5 - years of experience in solar O&M or renewable energy operations, with a focus on performance monitoring and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify performance trends and anomalies.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and tools, such as SCADA systems, Excel, and database management systems.
- Experience with performance monitoring software platforms (e.g., Solar SCADA, PVsyst) preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
