Full-time
40 hours a week - Overtime hours may be required up to 48 hours
Expected start date 15/06/21
21 days paid holiday (plus paid bank holidays)
Requirements
You
need to be physically fit and able to work at heights, and in all weathers as
you will be helping to install a variety of energy projects. The work is
varied and physically demanding. One project may see you installing our
solutions on commercial and domestic roof tops such as fixing mechanical and
structural mounting for racking, modules and electrical equipment, and another
project may ensure your feet are firmly on the ground installing ground mounted
systems in a variety of locations.
Lifting
and working in tight spaces, such as attics is a regular feature of this role
for both installing systems and their maintenance including PV system
services.
You'll
also have a great eye for detail as you'll need to follow layout plans of solar
module installations.
You'll
have a positive can-do attitude and be eager to learn and progress with a
business going places. Being a team player in this role is essential in getting
the job done well and to our high standards and to ensure your safety at work
too. You will be required to attend and complete mandatory training sessions on
new products, installations methodology and health and safety.
No
specific professional experience is required for the job, all training is
provided by us. Once completed, you will be qualified with a Level 2 NVQ in a
Construction Plant Operator.
Access
to own transport to and from site is essential.
