We are seeking a dynamic and experienced EPC Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services across our renewable energy projects.
The role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing client relationships to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the EPC sector.
- Analyze market data, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective business strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted markets.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets.
- Lead the proposal development process, including pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients and ensure successful project handover to the execution team.
Client Relationship Management:
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing timely solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify potential partners and collaborators to expand the company’s reach and capabilities.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships to enhance service offerings and market presence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including client communications, proposals, and contracts.
Essentials:
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the EPC industry.
- Proven track record of successfully securing and managing large-scale EPC projects.
- Strong understanding of the EPC project lifecycle, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel as required.
