We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of professional experience in electrical hardware design.

This position will work with engineering team and be specifically focused on the design of new products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the electrical design for new and existing power electronic embedded systems.
2. Maintain existing products design to make improvements.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware engineers, software engineers and system architects, to define requirements.
4. Ensure all hardware designs comply with a DFT strategy for all of Sol-Ark’s end-to-end solutions.
5. Participate in the full product development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
6. Lead the team in FMEAs, WCCA, root cause analysis and other quality improvement initiatives.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
8. Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience.
9. Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support when needed.
10. Maintain clear and concise documentation for designs, development processes, and project deliverables.
Requirements
Qualifications:
1. Master's or Bachelor's in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited US University.
2. Must have at least 5 years working on high reliability products.
3. Solid understanding of power electronics.
4. Proficiency with Altium or similar schematic capture and layout tools.
5. Must have experience designing products to quality and safety standard.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
9. Familiarity with version control systems and tools.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of power electronics and control algorithms.
2. Experience in Python for scripts is a plus.
