**Job Title: Project Coordinator - Solar Project**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage solar energy projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of project development, ensuring timely delivery within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Project Planning and Development:**
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine project viability.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to design solar installations.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities and regulatory bodies.
2. **Project Execution:**
- Manage day-to-day operations of solar projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
3. **Team Leadership:**
- Lead a multidisciplinary project team, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development.
4. **Quality and Safety Management:**
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Develop and maintain safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential safety hazards.
5. **Budget and Financial Management:**
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts, providing updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
6. **Stakeholder Communication:**
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
7. **Post-Project Evaluation:**
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify lessons learned.
- Prepare detailed project reports, documenting successes, challenges, and recommendations for future projects.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on solar energy projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale solar projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of solar energy systems, technologies, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
